Drowning in His Love!!!
Our last week in Peru was spent with Jim Drown ( www.drowninhislove.com ) . He had a 3 day campain in Huacho, Peru. During the days we were praying for people in the streets, visiting orphans, and encouraging the local churches. In the evenings, we would minister to hundreds at the nightly meetings that would draw a thousand people or more. Several hundred of people each night would come forward to give thier lives to Jesus, and many were healed and delivered as well.

Orphans recieve toys, candy, food, and love!
Our team spent two days visiting over 70 parentless children. The material things they recieved were wonderful. You cannot however, put a price on an embrace! I knew in my spirit that the hugs, kisses and time spent with the children meant more than all the toys in Peru. Please remember the biblical mandate to minister to orphans. Consider what you can do, for the orphans are dear to the Father's heart.

Translator translates an unknown language!!!
Perhaps one of my most spiritual moments of all time happened at one of the nightly meetings. A young woman was called out of the crowd by Jim he prophesied a ministry for her life and a strong call of God. Before this had even happened, the Holy Spirit spoke the same things to me. As she left, she was weeping. A few minutes later I heard a rucous in a room near to us. I investigated and the woman was manifesting more than one demon. She was screaming and wailing and shaking. We commanded the demons to leave, and then peace decended. The woman began to pray. Since I really cant understand spanish, I called in one of our translators, Michael. I asked him to tell me what she was praying about. He said it wasnt spanish. I asked him if it was ketchua, another language in Peru. He listened somemore and said it was tounges. "Well interpret it" , I told him. As he listened, the Lord enabled him to understand and translate what the woman was saying. She was praising God, thanking God and recieving the call on her life. Later the Michael told me how wonderful it was that he could understand her. He also said it was the first time anything like this had ever happened to him. So I encourage all, "step out". God will catch you! He will help you. He promises He will give us the words to speak. Thank you Holy Lord, our King, Master, Friend, and Father.

Local Vendor Donates Platform and Sound System!!

The team went to the plaza on tuesday with a local youth group who danced to popular Christian songs. The security told us to leave, they shut us down, but God had an unexpected upgrade. As you can see in the photos, many were toucheded by God and the message. Many were healed instantly, and many came forward for prayer. 150 people committed their lives to Christ and each received a Gospel of John.

The crowd was hushed when Darren shared from the platform, They were amazed that such gental words could come from such a big, burley guy.

We went out again on Wednesday and saw Jesus draw many unto Himself. Even people in the crowd were praying for each other as the Spirit of the Lord broke out. Wave after wave of shoppers would come for prayer and to recommit their lives to such a wonderful Savior.

The Team Arrives!!!
We welcomed our Alaska team for 10 days of ministry in Peru. They hit the ground running, feeding over a thousand poor families in 2 days. The first day, we brought the food and prayed for many for healing. Lorraine Williams prayed for several women who testified all the pain left their body, including one woman who had pain in her breast for 2 years. After Lorraine prayed, the woman began pushing in the area with the pain. She said it was almost completely gone. Loraine continued praying for the pain to leave completely. It did. She walked away healed! !!!

Boys ear "POPS" opens!

A boy came forward for healing in his left ear. He said he had very little hearing. He said his dad was going to get him a hearing aid for his ear. As I was praying, I felt a "pop" under my hand, similar to a knuckle cracking. I knew the ear was healed and I tested the boy. He could hear perfectly! Both I and my interpreter tested him. He could here equally well in both ears. I told him to go tell his dad he won´t need the hearing aid!

During the feeding, many people came forward to receive a good, hot meal. What a privilege to serve the poor. All of the people gathered heard the word of God, and were encouraged by the love of God. Our team is great, including Hal Brandt, who was instrumental in making the operations run smoothly. It is wonderful to see the body of Christ work together, everyone helping out. Feeding, preaching, helping, watching kids, interpreting. None is greater than the other, it is just like being part of a finely tuned machine.

Mayor and his family give Jesus their life.
We drove up the side of another dusty, bumpy mountain to feed another community on Sunday. Before we served the meals, the mayor of the community approached us. We asked his permission to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. He welcomed us and therefore, welcomed Jesus Himself. Helanie, our native friend from Alaska, gifted him with a homemade native necklace. He shared how a year ago, he had gotten prayer and was healed and was glad to see us back. During the meal, we gave everyone present the opportunity to give Jesus their life. The Mayor and his whole family came forward to commit their lives to Jesus. WoW. There were about 25 others who received Jesus as their Lord. After we prayed, not one had any need for healing prayers. We also gave every new believer As well as others) a Gospel of John with a new believers guide.

LARRY RELEASES THE JOY!
Leave it to Larry Goode to release complete pandemonium. He grabbed a bag of candy, waved it in the air and began tossing it to the 40 or 50 children. It was wonderful to see such joy in these children, all of whom share a one room shack with several other siblings. The atmosphere was one of a party. Joy, Hope, and Love, just what a soul safari is all about.........

Alaska team encourages the local church.

Each one of us had an timely word for Pastora Wilma´s church in Lima. They were encouraged and chalanged. Use your tallents, know who you are, keep up the good work, give unto the Lord, always be ready for change, and a deeper sense of the Love of Jesus. Jenson also shared John 1:16.

Soul Safari hits streets, 200 people receive Christ!!!

God is always surprising us! During our time of worship and prayer, we packed about a hundred gospels of John stuffed with salvation tracts. Each person confessing faith in Christ was to receive the word of God. We hit the marketplace and began praying for people and testifying about Jesus. Within 30 minutes, over a hundred people had recieved Christ in their life. We ran out of printed material but kept praying. Many people were healed, delivered and saved.

Ground Shakes!

Never in my life have I experienced anything like this. We had been in the same area for an hour or so, praying for many people. Many salvations and many healings. There was a group of 12 or 15 people who needed healing in their body. I had them lay their own hands on the area that need healing. While I was praying, the ground beneath my feet shook! WOW! I knew God had done His work. I asked who still needed healing and the entire group said they had been healed! Glory to GOD!!!!
