"I once was lost, but now I'm found!!"

Maniac terrorizes Inca family..Refuge in Jesus!!

The situation we faced today was one of sheer horror. A precious young mother came to our apartment to hear about Jesus and get prayer for a "bad situation" As it turns out, the woman was being beaten, abused, threatened with death, and stalked by her maniac ex husband. Not only did he beat her up, but her brother AND MOTHER as well!!! And here they were, with her precious 2 year old in our apartment.

The circumstances of this meeting was equally bizaar...she was brought to us by her brother...who is a grocery boy at the local supermarket. We met him a few days earlier. He helped us with our groceries and afterwards I asked him if he knew the way to get to Heaven. "No, will you tell me??" This young man had NEVER heard the gospel. And he was thrilled. "Can I bring my family to hear this!!" He exclaimed. "And I want to go to church with you!" He added. "Thank you for being my friends...I didn't have friends....now I know the meaning of friendship!!"

And so he brought his sisters (today actually) and we prayed and explained the Gospel of the Kingdom to them. There wasn't a dry eye among them!! Of course, faced with this situation we knew we had to help them. Thus, we have a meeting with a Christian Attorney tomorrow to get a restraining order from the wacko. Please note: This is by faith. we do not have this in our budget. We are stepping out. This is the most serious situation we have seen yet. Will you help please. Attorneys here are not that expensive. $30 per meeting....We are thinking it may be a few hundred dollars. This may possibly save her and her babies life. The Guy is on drugs and is very dangerous. Will you ask God if he would use you to help Miriam and her baby Dianna. They are precious new believers and we told them that help was coming from the church. Christmas Party brings hope to desperate children

Without the gracious gifts of our partners and members, this party would never have taken place. So thank you and we hope you enjoy the pictures...these smiles belong to you. Most of the children you see come from broken homes, and live in one-room shacks with dirt floors. Several of the kids live on the streets. We have been loving on them and have seen a tremendous change in their behavior. What a praise report. They are precious...and their community has NO spiritual presences....(except of course drugs, witchcraft, abuse, etc....) So pray that others will come alongside these little ones and offer to help us. Those that are living in darkness have seen a great light

God's favor has come upon us as we have aquired a building on Carmen Hill where we are called to bring the love of Jesus into this community. We will keep you updated on the events....we are excited and so are the families!!! Two cool things about the building....It has the logo of our home church spraypainted on it in graffitii. The other is that the land lady had a dream (before we even told her we were christians) that she was in the building and that the walls of the building were reflecting images of Jesus. (she is a non believer by the way). COME ON GOD!!!! Please continue to lift us up in prayer for safety for our family.....lets just say that it is kind of like the wild west.....on meth......and not everyone there likes "the light". But we are not ashamed of the Gospel...for it is the power of God for salvation!!! If we don't go, then who will....the mormons will, and the drug dealers will, the pimps for the young girls....the thiefs....
