Living in a shack with orphans and a widow....
Lovin´ It!
Lovin´ It!
We are living on the dusty hill called Carmen Hill along side a dirty river in a town full of bank robbers and witches. We are sharing our time with with 5 orphan girls and their mom, their chickens, cueys ( guinne pigs). We have prayed for many and there is a stir in this community. We are living in a 9 by 9 cabin with 4 of the girls. They are the sweetest, and strongest girls I have ever encountered. We have become their spritual parents, and a couple of them really love to pray. Santa, the 13 year old is like a spiritual sponge. We are putting in a bathroom in their cabin so they can shower, and go to the bathroom. right now, they use the bushes and the rocks for their bathroom. You can tell these girls had not been held or hugged much in the last 10 years because they are so loveable. We took them to their first hotel and let them swim in the pool on Saturday and will do it again this next week.
Then we will go home to see our wonderful sons in Alaska.
Jesus left paradise in Heaven to come to the Earth to be with his people. We have felt that love as we left our family and Home in Alaska to live in the shack and eat bread, bananas and water. His love is amazing, and we can still have such joy, yes unspeakable, as we just activate His love. There are many churches in Peru...why noone here would help this family, I don´t know, but I know they have missed putting a smile on God´s face, the very thing we are eager to do.
Many blessing as you consider how you can say yes, and give all, to the Lord.

praying for you guys. You are brave and I love your courage. Seems like thats what Jesus would be doing. And he is through you. you guys continue to raise the bar, and I appreciate it. Keep up the good work. Give a hug to the girls for me. I am planning to take Jensen and Miles to Anchorage for the Kutlass concert. Love you.
